Sukkot is a Jewish Holiday celebrating the autumn harvest. A Sukkah is the name of the temporary dwelling in which farmers would live during harvest season. Join us in a tradition of building the Sukkah, feasting together underneath it, and celebrating our gratitude for the seasons bounty.

This is an all ages event, children are encouraged to attend and help us build the sukkah. This is an inclusive event, ANYONE from ANY background is welcome to attend, the central theme giving thanks for locally farmed food and communing around it together.

3-5PM: Build the Sukkah

5-7PM Community Potluck - Bring a dish to share!

7-8PM Closing Meditation for Peace and Giving Thanks for the Harvest

This is a free event. However we ask that in the spirit of Jewish traditional Tzedakah (charity) you could contribute to funds we will raise for World Central Kitchen, a food justice non-profit, making chef-prepared meals to communities impacted by natural disasters and during humanitarian crises; currently serving- Florida, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Mexico, Gaza, Lebanon, Israel and Ukraine.
